Proverbs 29:18 | Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he who keeps vision, is happy.

Once you outline your goals, you can begin shuffling thru magazines or online to find the images that best describes your thoughts & goals. Keep them in a small ziplock and bring them to Brunch. If you don’t use the image or find something that better describes your thoughts & goals, you can always share with others!

What’s a Vision Board: The idea derives from The Secret Book & DVD. It’s a board you create that exemplifies and outlines your personal vision and includes personal & professional goals, hopes, aspirations, wants, desires illustrated with words, images, pictures and more. Personally, I do a Vision Board twice annually.
The 1st Vision Board is done on New Year’s Day because it sets the tone for a positive and focused year. The 2nd Vision Board is done half-way through the year in July or August. What I have found is the New Year’s Vision Board is more broad and a snapshot of the entire year as I visualize it. Once half-way through the year, I have the ability to measure my success, strive for more and re-align or tweak my goals if needed.
The Secret aligns with many of the Christian principles. Spiritually, it’s about asking, speaking, believing & receiving God’s blessings!! In creating a Vision Board, you will be doing just that!!
The final two steps in creating your Vision Board are the “speaking & believing” parts…
If you are doing your Vision Board with friends, each person should take time to share their boards with the group. Spiritually, with a humble heart, you must speak your needs into existence. If you’re doing your Vision Board alone, take time to call someone you love and share it with them via phone.
Lastly, it is so important you display your Vision Board in a place where you can see it everyday. For example, my Vision Board is above the bathroom door threshold in my bedroom because every morning as I prepare for my day, I look at my Vision Board and it’s truly encouraging! By seeing it daily, it will remind you of your goals and help you stay focused! Consistency is key!

Nina, Nina, Nina,
My daughter and I had a chance to thoroughly look at your website. You are so transparent and really do keep it ’100′ as the young ppl say. It encourages me to see young women as yourself finding time in your busy life to still empower and speak life into others. Stay inspired sweetheart and be blessed. I’m a inspiritional fiction writer and my new book, Overcoming Resentment, is based on my daughter’s story (she is a single parent as well).
Even though I don’t personally know you, (we tweet each other), you have found a place in my heart. Agape love …. (tear through a smile)…kisses
Nina,
You have inspired me to create my own Vision Board! I want to be able to see my dreams in vivid color. In the past I have just written down my goals, prayed over it, and placed it in my Bible. To be honest, after a few weeks I will forget that it’s there. If I want to be serious about setting and making my goals I need to step my game up. Thanks!
wow

Thanks for the nice post…
It’s your discovery, good job!
It’s so great that you share this with us
I heard something about this last week on a global news program.
I did my vision board with you virtually, well kind of. I live in Miami, Fl so I created mine on my computer screen the same time you were holding your first brunch. I haven’t accomplished everything, but I have mangaed to get some things done which is all a blessing. Meeting Drake can wait (lol). Keep being the inspiration that you are. I believe I will work with you soon, because the blessed always find favor.
Excellent study, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing just a little research on that. And he actually purchased me lunch simply because I found it for him smile So allow me rephrase that: Many thanks for lunch!
